Another school tragedy in Colorado

There was another school shooting in Colorado today. At Platte River Canyon high school, a 16 year old girl was shot by a gunman who entered the school and took hostages. She died at the hospital some time later.
All I could do was sit in stunned silence and feel my heart break.. for the girl and her families and friends, and for the gunman, whoever he is (his identity is as yet uknown), and for his family and friends. I cannot imagine the circumstances that would drive one human being to do these types of acts. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been affected, or will be affected by this terrible act.
