For the record... running your cell phone through the washing machine probably isn't a good idea.  I guess I'll find out what really happens in a day or so once the thing dries out.

oh man!  hope the thing still works.  Most of the ones coming out are pretty tough so you have a good chance that it's still functional.  You could always try to get another one from the phone company and tell them your dog ate your cell phone!  That always worked with my homework…   ; )

hope that at least put a smile on the situation!

Looks like you were right about the toughness thing…. the alarm on my phone went off this morning so I was able to get up for work (hmm… perhaps a mixed blessing here! ha! ha!), and aside from the screen looking weird when I look at it from the side, the phone works just fine.

Yay!  No need to go in and tell them I need to trade in my nice, freshly washed phone!
