Today I learned...

that I can get from work to The Tattered Cover bookstore and back before my planning period is over. :-D  Good to know since I was able to go and pick up my signed copy of Buddha Is As Buddha Does.  As I posted earlier, Lama Surya Das was in town last night to talk about and sign his new book.  I had planned to go, but due to some family "stuff," I wasn't able to, so I called Tattered Cover and asked them to have him sign a copy for me, and they were very accomodating.  My plan was to pick it up after work, but since Kyle was fairly opposed to the idea, I instead remembered that TC opens up super early (6:00 a.m.!), so after dropping off the kids at school, I boogied on down and picked it up. (Had to pick up another copy of Way of the Peaceful Warrior, too, as it turned out... my copy seems to have vanished from my bookshelf at home... bleah.)

So... good to know... and now my "Must Read" list has expanded again.... :-D
